A global leader in the pharmaceutical industry, our client is known for its commitment to scientific innovation and operational excellence. With a strong presence worldwide, the organization is also increasingly focused on driving sustainability across all areas of its operations.

Challenges Faced

The company was looking for a fresh, impactful way to engage employees in sustainability conversations. The goal was to design a training program that wouldn’t just inform—but inspire action—across all teams. To be truly effective, it needed to be educational, interactive, and memorable, reaching employees wherever they were, and motivating them to contribute to sustainability goals.

Paving the way to success

We partnered with the client to co-create a fully customized digital and physical escape game—a gamified learning journey built around real-world sustainability challenges faced by the pharmaceutical industry.

The escape game combined storytelling, problem-solving, and team-based interaction. Employees were placed in a fictional but realistic scenario and to “escape” the situation, they had to solve a series of puzzles tied to sustainability topics such as:

  • Responsible sourcing of raw materials
  • Waste reduction and recycling protocols
  • Carbon footprint in drug manufacturing and logistics
  • Sustainable packaging and supply chain ethics

Each puzzle was crafted with the client to reflect relevant internal goals and industry realities. The experience could be deployed in person or remotely, allowing for flexible rollout across geographies.

To maximize engagement, we incorporated multimedia clues, time-bound missions, and real decision-making moments to turn the learning into an active, collaborative process.
