Challenges faced
Our client needed an integrated solution to streamline their investment approval process, which involved multiple steps and stakeholders. To achieve this, they required a reactive web application built on the OutSystems platform—a low-code development tool designed to simplify application creation while ensuring scalability and efficiency.
The approval workflow involved up to four approvers and catered to two main user groups:
- Petitioners: Employees who initiate and submit investment requests.
- Approvers: Decision-makers who evaluate and authorize these requests.
The client also needed a solution that could build on the foundational architectural components already defined in previous phases, ensuring alignment with their existing setup.
